Ryan Parker // Honours Student 2023
With a main focus of photography and sound & vision within graphic design, my main project for this year is to combine my photography skills with typography to create an informative editorial and campaign on the history of Berlin. I have been developing my surf photography and video whilst out in Tenerife and have been using these photos to compare the surf culture to Aberdeen.
I have also been working on sound and vision skills over the past three years and thoroughly enjoy working on video projects. I am comfortable with a camera in my hands, shooting both photography and video.
As well as this I have used the branding skills learnt, on a range of projects to display my professional and more commercial aspects, as this is something I can see myself doing in the future.
I am currently working on a rebrand for a local restaurant (Borsalino’s) not only focusing on what the clients asked for, but also focusing my own creative interpretation.
